I had tried the Gen before buying the Rep and the only really so so part on the Rep was the rubber strap ... good but far less confortable than the Gen one.
But I did not even checked the price before your post.
80€ on the B&R and ordered.....

Thanks for confirming. Anyone owning the watch I urge you just to tighten the 4 x screws that holds the case together and the watch is water safe.

Can anyone confirm this? I like the idea of a waterproof rep, but can't really justify paying someone to do it for me.

Also, Chazing claims this is 12mm thick. Is that true? Thats pretty damn thin.

Anyway yes it's 12mm and yes if you tighten the screws most likely it's water resistant. But your mileage may vary

For a rep dive watch, that must be thin. I don't know of many that clock in under 13.

it's considerably thicker, chunkier, bigger than a 5digit sub but ok i won't rub it in any longer.

End of July I spent 2 weeks in Corsica and swimmed almost every day with that watch without any problem (never went lower than 3 meters down with it so I consider no diving).
I just put Seiko grease on every gasket and o-ring and tightened the screws on the case.
And washed it every day with clear fresh water of course.

Are there any without orange lume then?

- only black version has orange lume. But it does not shine as bright as normal lume.
- blue version has yellow.
- rg version has green lume like the other hands

Here’s mine. It glows very well. One of my best lumed watched out of the factory.
As you can see, orange lume as well. But it fades quickly. Still visible at night, but barely.
