You'll notice the screw that holds the watch hands is silver (I apologize I don't know the technical term for the screw)

You'll have to get it modified. They all have that flaw.

Ah, you mean the pinion.
Well first of all, this is the best rep version you can get. It's actually pretty good.

If you get the watch, chances are that you will probably not even notice it (that much). But if you do: give the pinion a tiny amount of dull black paint. With a tooth pick or a brush with just a few hairs. (A sharpy would be to shiny)
As you van see in the TD pictures, removing the front crystal is easy.
