Will 15500 appearance signal the end of 15400?

Im caught in between models now.
Inside I wanna add an AP to my wearables and it seems the jf v5 is as good as it gets.

But the reality of getting a newer 15500 appeals to me. Though it might take a few iterations to get it good enuff.

What thoughts you guys have if caught in this dilemma, assuming you only can pick one?

Not to mention Im afraid after a while I wont be able to get a 15400 anymore from jf.

Where I need to be.
The rep scene isn’t like the gen. So don’t worry they will not discontinue a very popular rep model especially when the first batch of 15500s look like happy meal toys.

You can get a decent 15400 now. I said decent, as a relatively cheap novelty watch.
You can consider holding off to buy the 15500 till they improve it and believe me, there will be a v2, v3 ad nauseum and none will be perfect. It’s how the rep makers try to milk the market for profits

Am not looking for perfection.

Just worried that the jf v5 will be OOP by the time I decided not to wait for a relatively good 15500.

Or get the 15400 and salivate the good 15500 when it comes.

Dilemma of a budget constrained individual.

i just saw the 15500 on puretime and boy, the dial is terrible. Better off with 15400
