Why not? Thats the fun part of this hobby :)
Rubber/leather straps are easy to change. You need only 2small flat screwdrivers

WD40 or penetrating oil also works, a few drops on the screws and let it soak for 2-3 hours should loosen it. Careful not to get any oil on your leather strap, it may stain it. Hope this helps.

JF does like to glue those screws. it was a nightmare swapping the sincere strap.
i drop some penetrating/mineral oil onto the screws and let it break down the glue. it will back out eventually so do not force them and risk damaging the screw heads.

Just got my Montoya today! I'm still in the honeymoon phase with my Vic strap so I put it on the Montoya right away. I put the Montoya strap on the Sincere Tantalum. Since there is 15 years of history just on this forum, I'm sure this combo has been tried many times. I think it looks pretty good too!
