Like the 2xAR mods, this also makes your watch less like gen. Gen FC is matteish, if not beat up to hell and back.

Let me explain to you what Quetip meant.
The gen FC finish is matte, and with pronounced marbling. It may become somewhat glossy over time as you wear it as the material absorbs the natural body oils and minerals depending on where you live but in general, genuine AP FC finish looks matte with distinct "grey/white" marbling. XF got the FC very close and since the material is organic, there is the natural allowance for variations.
Polishing it is not recommended, it creates a fantasy finish, though interesting looking, distinguishes it from gen finish totally.

Thanks man! Yep, my shot. I've been practicing my still/product photography with my rep collection. It's been fun shooting but not so much on retouching ! Amazing how our watches collect dust no matter how well you think you clean/storage them. Cheers!
