Sadly yes but it would be nice to see an clasp upgrade on the metal bracelet version.

the modern DW font... everything else is just like it was before... Dial still a bubbly and not quite like the gen 15710ST
and anything else is just as always with JF... minor updates for top dollars

For any display caseback model, the balance wheel position will give the watch away instantly if you know your AP movements.
This is however NOT a point of concern for me if I have to consider a rep, as the watch will go on my wrist and nobody gets to see the movement if I do not take the watch off.
Yes open casebacks and faux decorations are always tells but not enough to deter me from buying a rep if I like it. This is once again very subjective.
Therefore to the OP, neither watch will be perfect, pick what you like and as long as you like it, it should form >90% of the reason that you wear it. Not because it is "closer to gen" (in which case, get the gen) but because you desire it enough to purchase it.

Which one would you get if open case back was not an issue? 15703 JF v9.5 or this 15710? I don't have neither (because I love my 15706 and don't want to cheat on it ), but I think if I was to buy one I would go for 15710 because it's a current model that is on sale.. and not past model..

If open CB was not a thing? I’d go for the 15710 as well, solely because I prefer the newer style of the datewheel over the classic font that’s very often found on 15703.
Wow have you seen the second hand on this new 15710?
It has no hole where it is fixed like the V9.5 has. For me this hole always is an easy tell if a watch is a rep.
Together with the more modern date font I am thinking about picking this watch over the V9.5 because also the case back on the V9.5 has its flaws with the letters.
What do you think about the Miyota in this15710? Worse than 2824 in V9.5?
Only downside is it would be dificult to mod it to lowbeat movement as it would not look good through the open caseback...

Has anybody actually ordered exactly this new diver and can tell if the end links of the bracelet are movable like on the 15703 V9.5 version?
I am quite confused as intime has a 15710 V9 listed since long time ago and it has a A2824 movement.
Then puretime came up with this 15710 V9 with miyota movement... please someone elaborate or maybe asked puretime. Otherwise I will have to email them...
