Sorry about PT, was a typo and wanted to say TD lol.

You can easly remove the caseback and check if it moves.
For the watchsmith, where are you located?

Germany :)

Take your ticket and get it fixed, it's still worth the wait or just take your screwD and remove this caseback to check what's wrong, maybe a little tap on the rotor will fix your issue =).

Seems like the thinning down from the case/movement crashes the rotor :(

Yes, still a very nice watch - will see what can be done.
critical persons would say it should at least work for the money

Can a genuine cal. 3120 date disc fit the date window of the JF 15202?

No unfortunately the position of the DW is slightly different (as far as i know) - and besides that i doubt that AP adopted the Jaeger LeCoultre construction for the Date disc for their 3120...

Dang...

So if I were to get a gen dial, I'd be screwed as far as a date disc goes?

Best bet would be a gen dial and to try if the JF DWO matches the gen DW cut out - if not - produce your own custom DWO hehe

Hi guys,

I couldn't take it, ... with utmost care I opened the case back, took my time ...
The rubber sealing ring was squeezed under the rotor, that's why it didn't move.
pushed it carefully with a toothpick in line and try now to close carefully.

hope it will work out, ... my nerves ... I m no watchmaker, but happy it's just that.

Think yo need a seal ring, but hope can enjoy it a little.

Ahhh always once I close it the seal slips back under the rotor

The JF DWO looks like crap IMO. Getting a custom one made... I feel like JF are an inch away from making a good one after updating nearly their entire line.

Soooo should I get a gen dial or not?

To be honest - i wouldnt hope too much as JF is pretty lazy these days. And then the next issue could be the alignment of the rep DWO.

A gen 2121 with gen hands would be the best. But you know how hard that is - i think slaughterer got the last set of gen hands offered to the public a few month ago on C24... and then there are only little chances of coming around some factorys seconds or even NOS ones...

last good deal on a complete AP with 2121 (but of course with different hands and yellow DW (dont know the reference)) went for about only 1.500$ on the bay. But prices for those models are high these days.

You know what the franken game is - everything else than easy peasy hehe

Even with the gen dial the gen dw will not fit. It’s not about the position of the dw but rather the teeth mechanism is completely different and it’ll never fit either the A7750 movement or any LWO movement.

I know that, let me put this way: Gen datewheel will fit ONLY the AP 3120 caliber. Not LWO, A2824/2836/2892 or A7750 or Miyota movement (So all rep RO and ROO are covered). So it does not matter if you mod the dial or not. The gen datewheel will not fit. The gen datewheel fitment has nothing to do with the dial. 0.00%.
