I just got mine, supposed to be V4 but honestly I don’t know.. I wanted to give this as a gift, the rotor is a bit loud and I feel the dial color is a bit dull

definitely a V4 mate (updated DW). Looks gorgeous for the money if you ask me.
I like the V2J blue color more... other than that there are so many different blue's out there...
Just saw your thread regarding the rotor silencing - moebius oil would be the best - but yeah you don't have any of it...
anyways a stunner.

I wish they kept producing the V2J blue dial. The sunburst effect was mesmerising.

It's supposed to be matte at certain angles, but will reflect light at other angles.

So now they switched back to the V2 tapseries with different AP writing? Why? The v3 tapseries was way better
it is not the V2 tapisserie. The squares are much sharper. You can also tell by the border around the Logo box.

The V3 dial looked completely different? Or the pictures are weak. Seems like the V4 is a mix between the V2 and V3 (including the shitty border around the logo box yes).
right side is V3 look at the tapseries and the writing it looks way better than now. Seems like they changed dial supplier again. The V3 looks also more shiny (and they are dull compared to the V2 dial) so how dull is the V4 then? Why is JF not getting it right i don't understand it.

I would wait (but thats my personal thing). The V3 looked better in my eyes.
Thanks for letting us know. I'm still relatively new in AP Replicas. My eyes literally still cannot tell the differences between each v3 and v4, but I want to have the best model on the market. Don't mind waiting for better versions (they might even get the thickness right next time). Current V3 and V4's don't have instant date change but a gradual one, right?
how long do you want to wait? You are still rocking the V2 (beside the blue of the particular gen batch reference) nothing is really outstanding on this model... not the tapisserie, not the DW, not the bracelet/case finish...
And still you advise somebody to wait for a V5 while the V4 is not more than 3 month on the market
I get your point that you don't like the blue of the V3/4 but there are many more advantages when you look at the black and white one and beside the too grey blue everything on the newer version is better and the flaws are not worth it for the newbies to wait another 6 month...
