New v2 DW and cyclops looks great IMO.

No need for the usual custom DW and cyclops anymore.

And there certainly isn’t a need for a x2AR crystal, unless you want to deviate from gen design principles

It may not perfect but it’s a far better solution than what we had before

Anyone tried a 44mm FC ? Did they update that ?

I have seen a pic of the fc44 and thought it looked great although rg and ceramic version looked a bit off

Still crappy movement and wrong position of the crown. So still a no-go imo!

Do you expect gen status movement in an AP rep?

Doesn't matter to me, my wish list is for the dial pattern and colour to be spot on (other reps have amazing accurate dials) and the date close to gen appearance(original release date looked tiny and ridiculous)

I think that’s a fair and realistic expectation and if the factories really put their heart into it, something that can be done.

No, but at least some more reliability than 3-6 month lifetime...

Then I think you do have a few options:
1. Get it serviced and modded to improve the reliability.
2. Franken the model you like with an LWO movement. Still not perfect but miles ahead in reliability.
3. Get the gen.

The A7750 movement, though somewhat improved in the recent batches, are still far from ideal. The community shares this frustration. There are however some ways to get around this “ticking time bomb” if you’re willing to spend money and time.

Is this your experience or hear tell? I own quite a few APROO for a couple of years now, and only one - maybe two - of the older ones had a short lifetime. None of my watches are daily beaters though.

Wow that really does look great! Might be time to sell my current and move up to this one!

Could anyone please comment a second opinion about a “specific concern” about the white in between the “A” and “P” of the big AP logo on the dial of AP ROO QC picture? Is it acceptable or should I request a new one? Thank you for your comment.

P.S. the date wheel font looks like it is placed on upper area but i think it just because of camera angle. My only specific concern is the white in between the A and P on the AP logo on the dial.

My experience with two different ROO (42 RG RC & 44 FC) and one Daytona. All failed although serviced.
Going Franken is no real option either, considering the immense costs.. Buy a 7750 with sec@12 or sec @6, but don’t be surprised, if it fails after a while.. it’s a ticking bomb..
ofc the chronos look great, that’s the reason why I bought them, but unless they don’t change the movement, i am out!
