Right. After the old website went down my ROC franken build post went corrupt, so today I'm offering to our membership a new photo story. I hope you enjoy it. It's been a great journey that has taken more than a year, but every step of the way I would take again. Thanks for looking!

I am still an AP guy, my brief spell with Daytonas (6263s actually) wasn’t a very rewarding one...

This little fellow here is 11mm, 26320 is 10.80 and 26331 is 11mm I believe

Thank you for the kind words. Looking at how well the cal 2385 rotor and the open caseback complement each other one wonders why AP have opted for the closed caseback. Some room for franken improvements nonetheless

@ap@12, red1 - thank you guys for the kind words. This is indeed a hell of a build (credit goes to other people, I only organised it). Hope there soon will follow more roc frankens (judging by the interest of members who've been contacting me recently). That was the purpose of the whole post, to help other enthusiasts with their builds.

This is the second movement holder, first was made out of steel and got discarded at some point. The whole maching took quite of an effort because of the misalignment of the case pushers and the movement tabs.

As to the dw - the print template is a sample from the factory that makes the quartz rocs
