Has some Tissot Powermatic 80 upgrade the plastic parts to steel parts? I have some movement (Powermatic 80) in hands but it is with plastic parts.
That would be hard because the parts from powermatic 80 are rare to find. You can try to ask the sellers on eBay and on Taobao (in case you are in Asia) who sell powermatic 80 movements to provide you with a few spare parts. The current price for the whole powermatic 80 movement is $180 on Taobao and usually a part is from $10 to $40, FYI. Hope it helps.
Yes it does ... I have had both 2846 Swiss that was serviced and and powermatic built into divers..
