I think this comes down to personal preference - in my case it's XF, especially with the mod.

Out of the box beside the look of both watches i think the XF special edition from trusty (which is only available on trusty with 2846 mvmt i guess) is a steal.

I think it is a freaking good price as it is a SWISS mvmt (maybe needs service because of its age as it is long time ago discontinued from ETA if i remember right)

And you got the superb build quality of XF... wich is better than JF when it comes to the FC Diver (as already discussed)

I think the look Out Of The Box is great for the price - as you pay the same on the 15703ST Diver in SS...

Best advice from my site - buy both watches they will fulfill all your wishes and come with a lot of versatility

I do t think it ever was available, don’t know anyone who purchased the ETA2846, maybe someone can prove me wrong.

As BIONONE refer to, 2846 is discontinued from ETA, Deadstock 2846(not uesd ) is difficult to acquire now,

IMHO, 2836 will be a better choice. 2846 only for senior players and It is better to re-oil.

I've got the FC v2 with 2846, it's extremely great! I took out the movement from the watch to look at the movement, it is actually a new 2846 movement inside (really clean), highly recommend getting this watch from Andrew!

Does the date change as flipped at midnight or turn a little by little starting at 10:30PM?
So you know if it has hacking movement?

Yes that’s correct, the texture and the font on Mikey dw looks heaps better than the xf stock dw

On the td sites the thickness of the xf is reported as 12 or 13 depending on the td.

both font are compatible for FC diver, since the watch was discontinued in early 2017, so it really comes down to personal preferences
