Just a quick post not really on the forums anymore but I have had the v5 if forged carbon for a couple of years no problems whatsoever..until I picked it up this morning and seems to be a loud rattling noise when I picked it up ..it still runs ok but I think it may be the second plate come loose.

To cut it short ..was checking if I opened it up is it a case of just removing the loose deco plate ?

Was in 2 minds of ordering the xf version but thought I would ask in case it is possibly a easy fix ..

Thanks in advance for any useful replies .

FC has solid case back so no deco plates on the movement. Could be winding rotor itself that came off. Can't really tell without opening her up. My advise: Stop checking the rattle sound by shaking your watch asap and have it checked before further damage.

Hi thanks for the reply ..I'm definitely not shaking it!!
it also has a deco plate from it being a 3120 decorated movement ..it's a base miyota movement underneath .

Will send it that guy Ado I think who is also in UK .
