Factories should read this thread, is´a very demanded watch, they must make a huge effort to make a good rep.

I'm sure they've read it, but there isn't much profit in the quartz model. Some dealers are actually charging higher prices to gain more in profits.

Has anyone swap out their bracelet for a leather/rubber on their 39mm? Am also interested in knowing if anyone has given the rubber/leather cheapies listed on AliExpress or Ebay that comes with the plots a try?

I would like to give them a try to avoid dropping a few hundred on the apband conversion kit.

I purchased one off EBay with the plots and the pins sent with it didn’t fit through the plot itself so I ended up getting it stuck and totally fucked the whole thing up. Also the rubber sits about 1mm wide of the watch.
I’d probably order again and drill the plots a tad bigger and put up with the wide strap because I thought mine looked great held up with the rubber strap.
Hope this helps

Thanks for sharing your experience with the eBay parts. From what you experienced, I think it would be best just to order the watch with the proper fitting plots and rubber strap already installed. Sourcing those specific plots and straps would be a cheaper option if the parts are available from the DC factory.

Thanks, awaiting.
Sead told me he never sold a rubber kit nor 15202 with rubber, he also said it would be difficult to fit (fit what?got no more explanation)
I'm still hesitating to order anyway cuz this 15202 on a rubber would be a perfect daily watch.

It worked perfect for me with the JF15400 only.

Thank you! I've ordered something else from Dealer Clocks by the way - fantastic service and really speedy delivery

Ok, so I received the watch- fast delivery and good package from DealerCLocks.

About the watch itself,
the dial is a deeper blue than my JF 15450, printing is nice but without the "plates" below the text (text is directly printed on the dial).
It is a quartz version so very thin compared to my other one which feels nice and gives "more gen" lines to the watch.

On the slight drawbacks : i feel the bracelet is not as smooth and qualitative as the JF one. If feels more cheepy and the clasp is a bit difficult. Also a bit disappointing is the date change. The date starts rolling very early. I mean at 10pm, you can already see the number going up and by 11Pm it is half gone so not very aesthetic.

Overall I prefer my JF 15450 because of the dial size and it just feels more solid/qualitative. The 15202 on my wrist is already a bit large so I don't imagine getting a 15400 (I usually wear a gen sub and feel the 15450 is more discreet and elegant - like a oyster for example - vs the 15202 wears larger than my sub and is a bit more showoff than the 15450) Regarding dials, i would have thought the contrary but i kind of prefer the lighter blue version replicated by JF although this dark blue is also very nice. My optimum would be a 15450 dial size with the thickness of this quartz 15202 but that's very personnal.

Bear in mind both these watches are reps and not that expensive so of course there will be flaws compared to the gens. Flaws that watch experts/enthusiasts will pick-up quickly but in a day-to-day usage if wearing such a watch doesn't look weird on you, everything will go smoothly, the most important thing being that you like the watch and enjoy wearing it.

I unfortunately don't have the 15450 with me right now so cannot do together comparison pics so below is the best I have :
Hope this helps, don't hesitate if you have more questions

Does anybody expert here knows if the dimensions of JF15202 are same as 15300?

Also screws of the 15202, 15300 are compatible/same size as the JF15400?

I am thinking to go franken as I have a couple of Gen dials (15202 and 15300) but I have like 3 BP15300 (old asian BP15300 and one BP15300 Miyota coming) and some MBW15202 to do it but construction of JF15202 looks better and more gen like.

This is the 15202 dial

Also recommendation of a modded to do it in Europe?

Thanks ????

It worked perfect for me with the JF15400 only, not compatible with BP15300.

Does anyone know how is the bracelet quality on the latest batch of 15202s from Sead? I just received my QC photos and the bracelet looks pretty bad. The chamfered edges have very poor finish, and the links and the slots cut in them are of different shapes and are irregular.

I'm actually quite easy on QC, but even for my low standards it looks bad..

i mean it is a 139 quartz watch mate... And nobody said the quality is comparable to anything else in the market as it is the cheapest RO a TD can offer...
