I get your point regarding the printing and its bright white appearance. But come on - this is again like Äpfel und Birnen

It's like the 15202 I don't buy the shit anymore if they don't get the printing right.

I mean a 139 dollar quartz rep have better printing than a 500 dollar rep what a joke

Edit: even the font is better on the 15400 cheap rep just ridiculous.

Iam not saying its a good watch but come on why the hell we pay 400 USD and more when they are not getting the printing good? Its just ridiculous.

The rest is good but the printing is an instant tell even on the black one.

Edit: There is atleast hope:

I hear you, it’s annoying but you pay the extra ££ for the rest of the watch. The only thing that was good with that 21j rep was the print. This turb looks nice

I dont know man i have the old quartz rep for 140 usd and the bracelet quality is on par with the JF version. It was that version without polishing midlinks after that they changed the bracelet to polishing midlinks and it was terrible. So yeah i dont know.

I really wear the quartz more often than the JF.

Printing is good here mate. Agree with you. But i dont know if its the lighting but the color shade looks purple on yours? datewheel also mate could be improved. Otherwise looks good to go mate. enjoy her well

I dont know man i have the old quartz rep for 140 usd and the bracelet quality is on par with the JF version.

I can’t wear sead’s quartz rep...the end links are too stiff and they flare out before folding around the wrist. It makes the watch wear like a bangle. Bracelet fit into mid-case is also bad on the $140 rep but for the money it’s fine.

Ah ok. This is the old “automatic”. Apparently there is a newer version which is not as good.

Check this page there was my comparison between the old and the new automatic (same as yours) the bracelet from the new one is just terrible i have the same issue than you. The dial is beautiful but i like my old quartz more even with no polished midlink sides.

Let’s talk about gen vs rep thickness:

The thicker rep caseback sinks into the skin and essentially the watch looks gen thinness on wrist:

My advise, don’t pay $300 or whatever to get your rep thinned and definitely don’t thin the bezel...the chamfers will look wrong.

Sorry to chime in. I have 6.7 inch wrist 55mm across the top, the lugs of a 15400 sit within the top of my wrist. I say buy one!
