Closest to gen 44mm ap roo?

So the two major flaws are the thin logo and the thickness? I wonder how much could be shaved off of the 44mm caseback.

Modern font datewheel and v2 cyclops.
i would avoid the grey dials-totally wrong colour, pattern not great either-mind you i bought the grey ceramic and love iteven if it is 'incorrect', i would have waited for 2017 ceramic with hindsight

I'm debating accepting the watch or upgrading to a JF for the better crystal and bezel (this one doesn't really have the brushed look)
Also the forged carbon looks a bit dull.
What do you guys think?

JF updated the datewheel and cyclops so its much better know. But the Mikey DW is still better if you can find one (they are no longer for sale).
Besides that everything has stayed the same afaik.
