Did you get that from Limpy ?

Also, I'm extremely interested in how you will adjust the weight to gen.

I got an 116515 franken in the works that I want to send you for plating, and probably an upcoming RGRC franken project in the future.

No it’s not from Limpy.

Domi will increase the weight for the Watch.

Update 2. Franken Project.

I will build a second RGRC with some updates and improvements.

The second RGRC will get a new dial and tachy, and a complete new set of Gen hands in Roségold.

Legend has kindly given me a correct case back with the correct serial number.
Thanks to Legend, I really appreciate your help!

In addition, a gold alloy will be applied in Switzerland and the weight will also be adjusted to Gen. I'll tell you right away, this makes the watch extremely expensive and probably the whole effort is not justified, but I'm a freak about AP's and I love the RGRC, even if I don't wear it enough.

Here are some Pictures.

I have a safe with parts too my local friend.
The parts are part of watches which have never been worn. In this way it’s the same case with your parts collection. They’ve not been worn too. ????

for me, all sorts. But hor, mostly Seiko and Citizen parts lor. Jokes aside, I think I have more vintage parts than NOS parts. And mostly the R factory. For AP, mostly uncommon dials.

For the dials in the pics I shown above, I believe most are NOS.

lolo1972sg. That is not the dial tray of your dealer, but the dial tray of the dealer who supplies your dealer. ;-) For both the gents, pics of the dial hording stash, or it did not happen. I already flexed my stash.

Then there is the CNC, and the inestimably nice movement holders of our beloved Limpy. And the hours spent in German lock-up by slaughterer62 pounding out these thinned Franken mid-cases like sausages.

Wow nice work - dang my holders look hot in these freshly baked Roo cases. I take one of each case model :) i am excited what these models will be when finished. Keep us posted

i think, i also need to go for another build when i see this

The last one of my builds Slaughterer helped me finish with his perfection... Now on seemingly rare gen red rubber - did nit know they were so hard to come by

Could well be pic from the dealer of dealer of dealer. At the end of the day, I only buy if I like and if the price is right.

Like others have said, I’m impressed with how Limpy evolved his build with some expert watchmaking help from slaughterer62 to come up with such a refined looking piece. I suspect there is a guy at AP whose sole job is to put together new color and material combinations for the next of 20 “limited editions” of ROO that year, in a deliberate but reiterative process like what you went through for your build. He probably gets paid mid 6 figures for that task, though, where we do it here for the love of a classic design.

Speaking of “limited editions”, I think it would be hilarious to have a convention of chronopassion rep and franken owners from the forums, numbering in the hundreds beyond the 50 original pieces...

Gathering from the numbers of QE2 LE frankens in the works thanks to the recent offering of dials we could have a similar gathering of these that would rival the existing pool of original issues.
