Sir,

just when I try not to have any more silly ideas of building more and more frankens that I end up not using you come up with this :)

It’s fantastic, wear her in good health!

Great job JS and Mikey, and QT, once again....

Hi T,
many thanks for the help you also provided here.
This last one was really labor intensive.
Hand finishing the edges of the DW cut-out with jeweler file and microbroach: 2 hours.
Color matching and lacquering the hands: 6 hours. (Ridiculous).
What next for tosoboso?
For me I am finishing up a Franken for a good friend and leading contributor incorporating all of his well-designed custom parts.

Yes, I know. One more in sunlight. Notice the datewheel cut-out ;-) I think you were behind that idea.

Hi Slaughterer, I'm very interested in the work you've done on the square cut out - it looks great. I have a franken incoming and the cut out from Mikey but no practical skills or knowledge to put the two together !

Depending on which model you have, you might not need the cut out.

1.) Mill cut-out to 6.05mm diameter on a lathe
2.) Smooth out inner outline with microfiles under 10-20x loupe or microscope.
3.) Bead blast.
4,) Air brush either metallic silver or matte black depending on model.
5.) Install aligned with tapisserie.

Or send everything to somebody who has the time, skill and will to do it.
