Hi rwi,

I'm going going to swap dial on a 15400. Can't find the stem release on this movement and did not find any good info while searching. Anybody please enlighten me where to release!
Thanks a bunch

Is this little fella involved? The tiny screw I tried to point out.

Yep, looks like a foot screw. Should be another on the other side.

It sure was. ZF dont make use of it though since the dial doesn't have any dial feet. It's attached with glue. So it was completely useless working these nots. I also dropped one and it took me a few tries getting it back on, to discover this glue fitting.

What??? ZF uses glue to put on the dial? this is ridiculous.

Using glue instead of dial feet is a cheap yet potentially problematic way of installing dials. Bad.

Yeah, I was kind of surprised my self. But since they reuse their old dial from the previous models it's not totally unexpected. But yes, a bit cheap and sloppy. Right now I am considering to glue on some dial feet before reassembling.

Yeah, the ZF with the apsf dial will be closed up and finished sooner, will share result! I'll see if the zf dial designated for the apsf case will be modded before finishing:thinking:
