A. Lange & Sohne Tourbillon

Hey guys,

Just wanna share something that I found some time ago:

This is a A. Lange & Sohne Pour le Merite Tourbillon rep, which in my opinion looks very very good. Yeah, I know, not trusted dealer, but just sharing guys...

When we compare this rep to the real deal, which can be found on a photo here: http://true-bespoke.blogspot.com/2010/08/revamp-of-blog-ongoing, I think they look quite a like, despite the rep being a flying tourbillion while the real deal is not. (Or maybe the guy in the photo is wearing a rep as well? 0_0

I have seen this rep on tao bao (chinese ebay) for around 400-500usd, so maybe if my summer job pays off, might buy one of these to review!

However it has a day/night display instead of a moonphase. To anyone - even if they know nothing about Lage - that is quite a tell.

It may have a tourbi, but it still looks fake.

Just FYI sinowatches are usually well-known to use real watches within their YouTube videos and in fact send you cheap copies that look nothing like the watch displayed.

Eitherway, I've only heard bad things about them so as Dr.Verylong said, stick to the trusted dealers on here.

Hey guys, thanks for the responses. Before I joined this forum I always thought sino was great (youtube videos and all) so i never bothered to check if TDs had sold the tourbillion as well.

I was quite interested in this being very real and tourbillions would be very cool! Too bad that this one is off!

As you say, plenty of good tourbillon watches from the dealers. I love them, but they're a bit out of my price range. I have a couple of fake tourbillon versions (open heart style) which I love.

I don't like that design on the rep, the Genuine Pour le Merite is gorgeous, might as well get a rep that looks like it. The rep Sinowatches had is sold by our trusted dealers for $550 more or less, the rep that truly resembles the Pour Le Merite is this one:

He;s not a trusted dealer here but he is on RWG, mind you I'd suggest to do what Dr.Verylong mentioned and stick with the trusted dealers. The $700 Price for this one is what it should be.

Nice find guanaco! Yeah the one you showed is definitely the best rep that I have seen and when I compare it to the gen (I have a link in my first post) they look exactly the same!

Yes, indeed, avoid a day/night display which is pretending to be a moonphase. This is indeed a major tell on a replica of any high end watch.
